Silvia Tennis Academy is known for hiring some of the top Pros in the country. It is not only important to us that we hire great professionals, but as important that we hire great people. Honesty, reliability, passion for the game and work ethic are just some of the key qualities we look for when it comes to hiring an STA Professional. Each professional conducts a 7-step interview process that includes a thorough background check. We focus on hiring professionals who want to make tennis their career and have a desire to be the best professional they can be. STA understands the importance the influence our staff has on the players they teach. Our pros not only teach our company’s Core Values (Character, Commitment, Courage, Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Excellence & Fun) but they lead by example both on and off of the court.

The top methods of teaching tennis radically change every few years. It is very important that our professionals stay on top of the latest, greatest, most innovative ways of teaching this game. Continuing Education is a top priority. All STA Professionals are top certified or on a path to achieve the highest level of certification by USPTA or USPTR. Each Pro is required to attend at least 3 continuing education workshops, two Charity Events and 3 drill exchanges throughout the year.

Quarterly professional reviews are conducted to ensure that the Pros are fulfilling their commitment to continue to grow on and off the court. In turn, STA uses these reviews to ensure that we, as a Company, are doing our part in helping pave the way for our staff to grow professionally. We make a promise to our pros that when they join our team, we will do everything we can to help them grow as teachers, have a better knowledge of the game, learn new and more effective drills and have a better overall insight into the tennis business.

We believe that STA Pros are the heart of our organization. Without them, we would not be able to achieve the high standard of excellence which we are recognized for throughout Atlanta Tennis
